Hearty Apple Cinnamon Kasha

Ingredients

1-1/2 C Water

1/4 C Kasha (Buckwheat)

1 McIntosh Apple - peeled and chopped

2 T Almond Butter

Cinnamon

Directions

  • Bring water to a boil
  • Stir in Kasha and continue to boil for 10 minutes or until all water is absorbed
  • Add chopped apple, almond butter, and cinnamon to taste
  • Remove from heat and enjoy

Notes

Drizzle with pure maple syrup or add a splash of almond milk if desired
