2 small avocados
2 tablespoons finely minced onion
1 lime - juiced
1 teaspoon cumin
dash of garlic powder
Cut avocados lengthwise all the way around. Twist halves apart. Remove pit by sticking it with a sharp knife. Using a spoon, scoop avocado flesh into a bowl and mash with a fork.
Mix in onion, lime juice and spices, seasoning to taste
Guacamole will keep for a day or two in the refrigerator if it is tightly covered. Make sure plastic wrap rests on the surface of the guacamole so that no air can reach it. Avocados will turn brown very quickly when exposed to air.
